Autumn appetites! Savor kinmedai and Ise lobster caught in the seas around Shimoda (^○^) This time I tagged along for a shoot with the Shimoda Kaikoku Museum. A video will be posted soon on the Shimoda Kaikoku Museum YouTube channel (＼(^o^)／). Please look forward to it! The shoot took place at Senmisho Ryoma, a five-minute walk from Izukyu-Shimoda Station. The chef’s handwork I watched across the counter was nothing short of divine! Kinmedai are landed year-round, but their flavor changes with the seasons. Ise lobster is available only in autumn and winter! The Ise lobster season is now in full swing! Both are luxury ingredients—be sure to taste these seasonal flavors while you can!
