On Sunday, October 15, we held a sightseeing training tour for the townspeople. It is held every year with the aim of experiencing the tourism resources of the Engaru Town where you live and conveying its magnificence to both inside and outside the town. The main part of this year's tour is to visit the obsidian outcrop "Akaishiyama Hachigosawa Outcrop" in the Shirataki area. This outcrop deep in the mountains snows early, so it was the last visit of the year. The participants were overwhelmed by the dynamic outcrop of Hachigozawa and moved by the beauty of the autumn leaves. I would like to continue the tour to experience the treasures of Engaru Town.

"2023 Engaru Love Food Fair" is being held at 26 restaurants in the town from October 1st ~ 31st. This fair is a project where you can taste original dishes using "Shirataki jaga" potatoes harvested in the Shirataki area at each store, and this year is the 14th time. In the Shirataki area, where "Shirataki Potato" is harvested, the altitude is 400 meters, and the temperature difference between day and night is large, so Hokuhoku potatoes with a high starch value are harvested. In addition, there are only 8 farmers that produce "Shirataki potato", and it is a rare and valuable potato that is distributed almost only in the town. While preserving the goodness of the ingredients themselves, please ♪ enjoy the "Shirataki potato cuisine" ingenious and ingenious of each store at Engaru Town.

【Guided Flower Park Walk】 In Roadside Station Nishiokoppe "Hana Yume" There is also a flower park. So, on Saturday, September 23, We held an event to take a walk with a gardener guide! It has been implemented continuously for about 5 years. This year, it was a time to taste the natural garden of autumn. Asters, pessicaria, Fujibakama, etc. Autumn flowers are colored. It seems that not only flowers but also plants and trees are carefully grown. There are also spots lined with grass of different colors It was worth seeing! I was surprised that about three people managed a large flower park. The plants I planted in the past few years will be 5 or 10 years from now. I was really looking forward to seeing what it would look like. Flower park until the middle of October The park is open. Looking at the plants Why don't you come and heal your travels?
