To Shintoku Shrine Mountain. I went to check on the cherry blossoms. The buds are plump and their color is deepening. However, it looks like they will not bloom for a while yet. There’s an event at Shintoku Shrine Mountain this weekend, but it may not be possible to hold it amid cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms may still be some way off, but azaleas and ezō-engosaku (Corydalis japonica) are already giving a hint of spring’s arrival. Shintoku Shrine Mountain is gradually taking on spring’s colors.
