Atami Nanayu When you walk around the city, you can discover the steam gushing out from various places on the slopes. It is a source called "Atami Nanayu". It is also recommended to visit the source and experience the long history and hot spring atmosphere. (Commemorative Stamps are installed on each of the seven information boards.) ――[Oyukan Spring] has been a world-famous self-gushing spring for a long time. It is said that the "big hot water" gushed out six times during the day and night, and the ground seemed to shake as hot water and steam alternately erupted violently. It gradually decreased from the middle of the Meiji era and stopped in 1923 (Taisho 12)) (it sometimes erupted again during a major earthquake), but in 1962 (Showa 37), it was preserved as a cultural property of the city and continues to this day. * Currently, hot water is artificially gushed out approximately every 5 minutes, reproducing the appearance of the large hot water gushing of yesteryear. Address: 〒413-0018 Lodging Town, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture Phone number: 0577-86-6232 (Cultural Facilities Office, Lifelong Learning Division, Atami City) Access: About 20 minutes on foot from JR Atami Station / About 20 minutes Use Yu ~ Yu ~ bus from JR Atami Station→ Get off at Oyuma Kosen → about 3 minutes on foot Parking/None ●"Ozawa no Yu" The hot springs in the gardens of Yazaemon Sawaguchi, Bunjiro Fujii, and Sanzaemon Yonekura were called "Heizaemon no Yu", but the local people called it "Ozawa no Yu" because it was located in Ozawa. It is said that, as with "Seizaemon's hot spring", if a person called it in a loud voice, it would spring up a lot, and if a person called it in a small voice, it would spring up small. In this Ozawa hot spring, you can make and eat hot spring eggs with the steam that blows out. Locals also say that it is delicious, and it is a little famous place in Atami. * Renewal completed on July 1, 2023. There are now two steaming kettles and a new bench. Address: 〒413-0013 Ginza-cho, Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture (in front of Tenjin Shuten) Phone number: 0557-86-6218 (Atami City Parks and Green Space Division) Access: About 15 minutes on foot from JR Atami Station Parking lot / There are several paid P cars in the vicinity In addition to these two facilities, there are "Bath Bath Bath", "Sajiro no Yu (Eye Bath)", "Seizaemon no Yu", "Nonaka Yu", and "Kawara-yu". * Atami Nanayu is not a bathing facility.

Hashiriyu The "Hashiriyu" facing the sea of Sagami is a rare side-hole type hot spring in Japan, and is one of the three major ancient springs in Japan. It was discovered about 1,300 years ago, and was named "Hashiriyu" because of the way the hot water gushed out from the mountains and ran down to the coast as if it were flying. As Minamoto no Sanetomo sang, "The early arrival of the hot spring in the south of Izu no Kuniyama is a sign of the gods," before the Meiji era, it was worshipped as a sacred hot spring at Izuyama Shrine. The 5-meter-deep cave still gushes out 170 liters of 70-degree hot water per minute, and the source is a mysterious sight. Address: 〒413-0002 Shizuoka Prefecture Atami City Izuyama 604-10 Phone number: 0557-81-2631 (Izuyama Onsen Tourism Association) Access: About 5 minutes by bus bound for Mt. Izu and Yugawara from JR Atami Station→ get off at "Aihatsubashi" → about 10 minutes on foot Parking/None * It is not a bathing facility.

He won the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award at the "Hot Spring General Election 2023!! Inai Onsen won the first place in Hokkaido in the total number of votes and 👏 the fifth place 👏 in the country in the moisturizing skin category. In addition, in recognition of our activities to date, we received the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award. The Hot Spring General Election is a public-participation hot spring resort revitalization project that has been implemented since 2016 under the auspices of five ministries (Ministry of the Environment, Cabinet Office, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Japan Tourism Agency). "Inai Onsen" is a natural hot spring with an average temperature of 42 to 47 degrees Celsius, where you can enjoy the flow of water from the source. It is also attractive that two types of hot water spring from the foot of one mountain. One is a rain-fed bicarbonate spring where water from the sky seeps into the mountains and stores nutrients. The other is a chloride spring originating from seawater, where the bounty of the ocean exudes. All of them contain natural mineral ingredients that are highly effective for beauty and health, and the bathtub overflows in its purity without adding water or heating. The hot spring area "Takashima Ryokan" 1st place 👏 in Hokkaido total votes 3rd place in 👏 the national moisturizing skin category 3rd place 👏 in the country in the dinner bragging category 2nd place 👏 in the seafood category in Japan 1st place 👏 in the country in the solo travel category and has won top positions in each category. Iwauchi Town has hot springs! I hope it will be an opportunity for you to know. And I would like many people to take this opportunity to visit hot springs where there are no people.
