* The image is from the past. From 4/9 (Tue) ~ 16 (Tue), the Ichimura Foundation For New Technology "Botanical Research Garden" will be open to the public in spring. "Kiyoeso" was the villa of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kiyoshi Ichimura and Mr. and Mrs. Yukie, the founders of the Ricoh Sanai Group. After that, it was used as a recreation center for the Ricoh Sanai Group, but in Showa 63 (Showa 63), Mrs. Yukie passed away, and the foundation received a bequest according to the will of the deceased. A mountain stream flows through the park, and many trees, flowers, mosses, etc. make up the plant ecosystem. In addition, you can see Sagami Bay and Hatsushima Island below, and Izu Oshima Island in the distance, and it is surrounded by mountains and trees. Normally, it is only used by researchers involved in plant research, but Implementation is open to the public twice: in spring, when fresh greenery and flowers are in full bloom, and in autumn, when the autumn leaves are beautiful. Please take this opportunity to see the beautiful spring garden. [Ichimura Kiyoshin Technology Foundation "Botanical Research Garden" open to the public in spring] Period: April 9, 2024 (Tue) ~ 16 (Tue) Address: Atami City Ainohara-cho 11-8 Phone: 0557-81-2656 Opening Hours: 9:30 a.m. ~ 3:30 p.m. (Closed) Fee: Free of charge Transportation: From JR Atami Station and JR Raingu Station, take a bus bound for "Ainohara Housing Complex" Use→ get off at "Kami-Ainohara" → walk down about 50 meters * Depending on the situation, the schedule may be changed in a hurry, so please check the foundation's Home page before visiting.

[How to collect sap and make chiffon cake] It was held as a winter nature observation event Shirakaba sap collection project. Participants gathered in front of the community center. Hop on the bus and head to the collection point. "Do you know what sap is?" In response to the question, one of the elementary school students explained in detail Whoa! There were cheers. When you get to the point, you will learn how to make a hole to collect sap. An outdoor course on the tools used for collecting has begun. The last few days, it was a little cold. I couldn't get any sap. Using the sap collected last year We also made chiffon cakes. Mix the dough or pour it into a mold. Both children and adults work with lively expressions. The baked chiffon cake is fluffy I finished eating in no time. Chiffon cakes are made at events in the garden of Yume Eup Forest. It is sold irregularly, so if you see it Please buy it! #Nishiokoppe Village #Shirakaba Sap #Kiiku #Chiffon Cake #Garden of Yume Eup Forest

For the rehearsal of the birch sap water collection experience that will start the day after tomorrow, we will do a final check of the flow at the site. I was worried because it snowed the day before yesterday, but thanks to the warmth today, I was relieved by the sap that oozes out when I make a hole in the birch. It seems that it was still a little early for full-scale collection, and the sap that came out was about 50 ml in one hour. From now until the end of the week, the daytime temperature is forecast to exceed 10 degrees Celsius, so I think the amount of collection will stabilize. The birch sap water collection experience will be held from the 5th (Friday) to the 14th (Sunday) of this month, and reservations can be made even the day before. If you are interested, please join us. In addition, those who are only interested in visiting are welcome. * If there are no participants, there will be no event, so please contact the tourism association in advance. For details, please contact the Shintoku Tourism Association [0156-64-0522].

Rendaiji Weeping Flower Peaches are now in full bloom (⋈◍>◡<◍). ✧🎵 The blooming of the "Weeping Peach Village Festival" held until April 7th is 🌸 in full bloom 🌸! Dark pink, pale pink, and white flowers drooping on the branches, making it a very beautiful sight. Cherry blossoms such as Someiyoshino in Shimoda City seem to be a little late in flowering this year. It is also a feature of Rendai Temple that there is an abundance of springs. Most of Shimoda Onsen draws ✨♨✨ from the source of Rendaiji Onsen The hand bath also feels good~ 🎵♨(^○^) If the weather is good, the 118-step ✨ platform of the best in Japan will also appear! The weather is forecast to break down from April 3rd, but please take a break from the weather and come to Rendai Temple in spring!
